BLUEBELL RAILWAY 21.FEBRUARY 2009 Over the weekend the trains operated were typical of those that could be found on Britain's Branch Lines from the 1870's through to the end of steam operation in the 1960's, and include some of the oldest rolling stock operating in Britain. Locos running on the Saturday included..... 753 South Eastern and Chatham Railway P Class built in 1909 Visiting from Kent and East Sussex Railway 65 South Eastern and Chatham Railway O1 Class Built in 1896 592 South Eastern and Chatham Railway C Class Built in 1902 Due to the delay in the supply of replacement loco springs, 592 was still being worked on, until late afternoon when it was in light steam. 672 Fenchurch London Brighton and South Coast Railway A1 Class Built in 1872 9017 Earl of Berkley Great Western Railway 32XX Class Built in 1938 80151 British Railways Class 4MT Built in 1957 Visiting diesel loco 73136 'Perseverance' was on display at Horsted Keynes.
