BRANCH LINE WEEKEND 24.February 2007 This year's annual winter event was not blessed with the best of weather, the Saturday being very cloudy, rather cold and showery. There were some new features this year including a mixed train of a couple of small Victorian 4 wheeled carriages, one Third Class for 30 passengers and the other First Class for 24 passengers. A few vintage wagons were attached to the back. An excellent addition to the timetable was information giving the direction in which each loco was facing. Thanks to the organisers for this and please do it again. Locos operating this weekend were........ 672 'FENCHURCH' A1 Class 'Terrier' built in 1872 in Brighton 55 'STEPNEY' A1 Class 'Terrier' built in 1875 in Brighton 32473 'BIRCH GROVE' E4 Class built in 1898 in Brighton 65 01 Class built in 1896 in Ashford Kent 9017 'EARL OF BERKELEY' Earl Class built in 1938 in Swindon 80151 4MT built in 1957 in Brighton Click on photo for a bigger image.
